In the fall of 2003 I was posting one photograph
each day on Fotolog.net, a public photo-blog.
I set myself a series of constraints -- nocturnes mostly,
no flash, an autobiographical slant -- and the
series, which ended when I left to travel
in Europe in December, turned out to read
as a very personal journal.
It all started out on the way back from a couple
weeks on Mount Desert Island, Maine. Next.
